Join us for the 2026 Kedumba Drawing Award – Exhibition of Finalists, showcasing the diverse and compelling work of this year’s selected finalists.
The finalists have been selected by Australian artist Patrick Shirvington, bringing together a considered and diverse selection of contemporary drawing practices from across Australia. The exhibition celebrates the breadth of drawing as an artform, and the many ways artists continue to explore ideas, materials and mark-making through the medium.

For 35 years the Kedumba Drawing Award has been one of the pre-eminent awards for drawing in Australia. The addition of the $20,000 prize money will ensure that the Award continues to grow and build on its success for many years to come.
