Andrew Browne
His work treads a fine line between realism and abstraction but also takes into account the formal lessons of modernism often seeking to insert the artificial into the natural world. Andrew has had numerous solo exhibitions over the last three decades and has participated in many group shows in both commercial and public galleries including, the Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney, National Gallery of Victoria, 2001, 2002 & 2011 Wynne Prizes and Art Gallery of New South Wales.
His work is represented in significant Australia-wide universities and corporate collections as well as public gallery collections.
