Edgar Schilter

Last updated December 6, 2018

My work is an investigation into the newest fields of scientific exploration. The intersection of chemistry and physics at the quantum level is a world of mystery and a mine of creativity. A place where that is passed by through the wavelength of light is a place that humanity can weave their own ideas of representation. I plan on exploring these possibilities and pairing into with images of heavenly bodies. Making a world where scale and size are no longer relative.
Edgar Schilter is the 2015 winner of the North Sydney Art Prize for Drawing, 2014 winner of the Hunters Hill, 2013 Youth Artist Award winner at the Blacktown Art Prize and a Highly Commended winner of 2013 Blacktown Art Prize and the Lloyd Rees Memorial."
