Born 1932, Leeds, UK. Studied Leeds College of Art. Travelling Scholarship to Paris. After 12 years at St Ives, Cornwall, and teaching at Harris College, Preston, Lancs and Falmouth School of Art, has lived and worked in Hobart and Adelaide since 1970, teaching in Tasmanian and SA Schools of Art.

Represented in Arts Council of Great Britain and other public collections in UK, and in Parliament House Canberra, Artbank, and private UK and Australian collections.
