She lives near Castlemaine in Central Victoria. Much of her work explores what it is to belong to the Australian landscape.

The ‘echnida person’, in part autobiographical, often appears in these works and symbolizes a desire for harmony. Part echnida and part human, this figure lives in the landscape quietly. Liz has been in numerous exhibitions and her work is in both public and private collections.
