My drawings are created with Blackwing graphite, using layered mark-making to build texture, detail, and depth. I am drawn to the quiet vibration between the real and the surreal, where familiar spaces begin to feel uncertain. Influenced by a long-standing interest in magical realism, I explore places that exist on the threshold of perception, recognizable yet subtly transformed. Every work begins with a real location, found on the edge of reality, where memory, atmosphere, and imagination converge.
