My art practice is very much about drawing as a direct and unimpeded vessel for the imagination . The mark , line and tone can suggest and this can then begin the process which I regard as a conversation between the drawing and the creator. I have only a vague idea of the finished piece . The drawing will open up a field of exploration of itself.if I am prepared to listen to its voice.
Lords Of Chaos was simply an idea taken from a distant memory of learning stories of the Greek Myths and bringing that story into the present where it now seems even more relevant. Allowing the initial outlines and compositions to speak of these gods who are often monstrous in their actions and complex in their machinations.
