Rockfall Erosion is a work from a series that references a cliff face on the NSW south coast.

Erosion of the rock face has caused slabs of rock to fall and break.

I worked on site initially, making detailed drawings of the rocks, I also made rubbings of the surfaces.

In the studio I have assembled my sketch book works as a reference. I made much enlarged versions on distressed hand made paper using inks and watercolour. I have torn these up and assembled some pieces to describe the broken slabs of sandstone cliff face that I have recorded.
