Christopher Orchard
Christopher Orchard has held 25 solo exhibitions. In 1976 his work was surveyed in a major exhibition at the Art Gallery of South Australia. Chris moved to London in the mid1980s and took an Air & Space Studio where he worked alongside Paula Rego.
He was a founding member of Central Studios Inc. in Adelaide. Drawing and works on paper are his major areas of studio practice.
Christopher Orchard tutors drawing at the Adelaide Central School of Art and is an active supporter of professional development for young artists. He is represented in most State and Regional Galleries and in public and private collections.
