Garry Foye
Born in Sydney in 1946. Garry received a BA Visual Arts from UWS Macarthur in 1994. He has held eleven solo exhibitions and participated in more than one hundred group exhibitions, including the Archibald Prize, Doug Moran Portrait Prize, Kedumba Drawing Award, Dobell, Jacaranda, Adelaide Perry, Blake Prize for Religious Art and the Salon des Refuses.
He was employed as a fine arts teacher at St George TAFE 1996 to 2004 and was awarded the Paul Haefliger Cottage Hill End Residency in 2002.
