Ginny Grayson
Ginny was born in 1967 in New Zealand and moved to Australia in 1995. She studied in Sydney and then in Melbourne completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2000 and a Master of Fine Arts in 2005 at RMIT University.
Ginny teaches Drawing at RMIT and Monash Universities and works with people who have special needs, she was selected for the Robert Jacks Drawing Prize in 2008, the Adelaide Perry Prize in 2009, the Prometheus Visual Arts award in 2009 and the Dobell Prize in 2008.
She lives and works in Melbourne and is interested in perception, in its many guises and especially enjoys drawing from life.
