Julie Harris
Julie Harris currently lives and works in Blackheath.She studied at the National Art School and Alexander Mackie College Sydney. Julie has been exhibiting regularly in Sydney and interstate since the 80’s and has had numerous solo and group exhibitions, including a touring survey curated by the Hawkesbury Regional Gallery from 2007 to 2009.
Harris won the Artlink Prize in 2002, the Adelaide Perry Drawing Prize in 2008 and the Fleurieu Art Prize for Landscape in 2011. She has been a finalist in the Wynne Prize and was a recipient of the Bundanon Residency and AGNSW studio at the Cite International des Arts in Paris. She is represented by Hughes Gallery.
