Pam Hallandal
Sculptor and draughtsman Pam Hallandal completed a diploma at RMIT in 1950 and trained at the Central School of Arts and Crafts in London between 1956 and 1957.
She received a fellowship in sculpture from RMIT in 1964. Her work has been included in group exhibitions including the Jubilee exhibition in 1951, theMelbourne Olympic Exhibition in 1956 and the Mildura Sculpture Triennial in 1964. She was awarded the Dobell prize for drawing in 1996 and has won several regional drawing prizes in NSW, Victoria and Queensland since 1979.
She taught at the Prahran Centre for Adult Education between 1958 – 90 and lectured in drawing at the Victorian College of the Arts in 1991. Her work is held by the Art Gallery of New South Wales, Sydney; the National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne; Heide Museum of Modern Art, VIC and several regional and university galleries.
