Rick Amor
Rick Amor was born in Frankston, Victoria, in 1948.
In 1965 he completed a Certificate of Art at Caulfield Institute of Technology, followed by three years of study at the National Gallery School, Melbourne, under John Brack.Several Australian Council studio residencies have allowed him to work in London, New York and Barcelona.

He is one of Australia’s most distinguished contemporary artists.
Rick has a very significant body of work behind him, having explored a range of styles and he has exhibited regularly over the past thirty years.

In 2000 he went to East Timor as an official war artist appointed by the Australian War Memorial. Rick currently lives and works in Melbourne.
